“It was an eye-opener. I’m a person who has traveled to over 120 countries in the world. I have been to China only once. But today, I think I was transformed into a whole different framework of thinking about China. China is a country which is 5,000 years old. My country also is 5,000 years old. I’m from Egypt, and therefore there’s a connectivity, but I never knew the Chinese story I did today… The stories are very, very enlightening, it creates awareness, things people don’t know about, and I think they’re done in a very nice taste, and extremely inspiration, so I enjoyed it very much… It was a surprising impression—I didn’t expect what I saw, and frankly, I have to admire the performers, and even the director with everything that he’s been able to do. I think the key element is being able to create awareness, and historical significance within a framework of compassion and ideology… There are things to learn: humanity, compassion, things that are very touching, and things that we find in almost every society… Congratulations on a great job done, and I wish you all the best.
